Columbus State University Basketball, Burger King Stadium at Ragsdale Field, is regarded as one of the top basketball facilities in the entire country to watch a Basketball game. A recipient of the National Fast Pitchers Coaches Association and Stabilizer Solutions 2010 Field Maintenance award, Cougar Field was rated the top playing surface in all of Division II. It features a Matrix scoreboard in the right-center, professional lighting, and spacious walk-in dugouts equipped with restroom facilities for both teams. A brand new covered hitting and pitching facility was enlarged for the 2017 season, providing the Lady Cougars a place to practice regardless of weather conditions. The “Cougar Cave” is a 6,000 square foot turf facility that features six multi-use cages with three setting up areas.
Off the field, Columbus State University Basketball uses the Charles B. Morrow Clubhouse, where they enjoy their lockers, bathroom, showers, and laundry facility. The locker room was rebuilt before the 2017 season. It featured new custom-made cherry wood lockers with the Columbus State University logo laser engraved on each, in addition to new couches and television.
